1. Seyi Makinde (current Governor of Oyo State)
Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde is a Nigerian businessman, politician and philanthropist who is the Governor of Oyo State since 29 May, 2019.
He is an engineer and a subject matter expert on fluid and gas metering. He is the managing director of Makon Group Limited; an indigenous oil and gas company in Nigeria.
He studied electrical and electronic engineering in University of Lagos. After his graduation, he did his National Youth Service program with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) and he was later employed in the NNPC as an engineer.
In 2019, he contested for Oyo state governor and he was declared winner of the contest by the Independent National Electoral Commission.

2. Akinsola Olusegun Faluyi
Akinsola Olusegun Faluyi (born 13 November 1934) is a Nigerian Mechanical engineer and former President of COREN, an engineering regulation body in Nigeria.
He attended Ibadan Boys High School, Oyo State, Nigeria where he obtained the West Africa School Certificate (WASC) and later proceeded to Loughborough University where he obtained a first degree (B.Eng) in Mechanical engineering (1953-1985).
Engineer Akinsola Olusegun Faluyi joined the service of the University College Hospital, University of Ibadan as Hospital Engineer in 1960. He left the teaching hospital after two years of services as hospital engineer, to join the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) in 1962 as Chief Engineer.
In 1975, he retired from LUTH in 1975 to join Edison Group and Partners. He became the President of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) in 1985 and served in that capacity for one year, a tenure that ended in 1986.
He later became the president of COREN. He also served as President of the Nigerian Academy of Engineering.

3. Ahmad Salihijo Ahmad
Ahmad Salihijo Ahmad (born October 20, 1983) is a Nigerian Engineer and renewable energy advocate. He is the current Managing Director of Nigerian Rural Electrification Agency.
He attended Essence International School, Nigeria and British Secondary School of Lome, Togo and later got admission to study Electronic and Electrical Engineering at University of Leeds, UK and graduated in 2006.
After that, he then furthered his education to Masters on Project Planning and Management from CADD Abuja and Masters in Development Studies at Nigerian Defence Academy, Kaduna, Nigeria in 2008 and 2018 respectively.

4. Abubakar Sani Sambo
Professor Abubakar Sani Sambo (born 31 July 1955) is a Nigerian Mechanical engineer, former Director-General of the Energy Commission of Nigeria (ECN), Chair of the Nigerian Member Committee of the World Energy Council (WEC), Africa Region and former Vice-Chancellor of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Nigeria.
He was born on 31 July 1955 in Zaria, Kaduna State, Nigeria. He obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.sc) degree in mechanical engineering from the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in 1979 with a first class honour.
In 1983, he obtained a doctorate degree, Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from the University of Sussex, United Kingdom.
After he obtained his Ph.D, he returned to Nigeria to join the services of Bayero University, Kano where he rose to the position of a senior lecturer in 1989 and was appointed a professor in energy studies at the same University.
He was appointed as the vice-chancellor of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University in 1995 and served in this capacity for two terms (1995-2004).
Presently, he is the incumbent director-general and chief executive officer of the Energy Commission of Nigeria (ECN) and vice chairman of the World Energy Council (WEC), Africa Region, since November 2007.

5. Robert Ifedayo Akintunde
Robert Ifedayo Akintunde (born 2 November 1935) is a Nigerian engineer, a distinguished Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) and former President of the society.
He is the first African to win the WFEO Medal of Engineering Excellence, in 2017.
Engineer Robert is also a Fellow of the Nigerian Academy of Engineering, the Institution of Civil Engineers (UK), and a Chartered Engineer of the U.K. since 1965.
He was registered by Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria in 1974.
