Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What is swift code?

A SWIFT code is a code that can be used to identify the country where a bank is located. It helps people to quickly find it very easily when they want to send money to a bank account overseas by using a platform like WorldRemit, Ria, Western Union, etc.
Swift code helps to ensure your money’s going to the right place.
All SWIFT codes consist of 8 or 11 characters. An 11-digit code refers to a specific branch, while an 8-digit code (or one ending in ‘XXX’) refers to the bank’s head office.
