The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) recently made the announcement of the suspension of the use of national identification number (NIN) for jamb registration in 2020.
This announcement was done on 11th (two days to the commencement of UTME registration.
It is done due to the inability of some candidates for getting their NIN. There were so much stress on candidates because of getting their NINs at NIMC office hence, JAMB has redecided to suspend it.
Now, JAMB has further said that anyone who wants to register for its UTME registration in 2020 will no more need to send his/her NIN digits to 55019 for JAMB registration, he/she needs to just send his/her name to 55019 for receiving his/her profile code for further registration.
Furthermore, every candidates that want to register and sit for JAMB in 2021 must have their National Identification number. Otherwise, they would be allowed to register and sit for it.
How To Register JAMB Without NIN For 2020
From the informations given above, it is known that you can now register for JAMB in 2020 even though you haven’t gotten a NIN.
