Every year, JAMB innovates new policies of how to register for their examination. For example, in 2021, the use of national ID card was introduced. In this article, I will show you how to register for JAMB in 2025 step-by-step without mistake.

Before you go to the accredited cbt center for JAMB registration, there are certain things you should need to converse with your parents on what you will fill in the form in order to avoid confusion and story.

You must use the information below to register for JAMB in any accredited JAMB CBT centers:

  1. Passport Photograph (Photo should not be older than 3 months)
  2. Surname (Your Father’s Name)
  3. Middle Name (When available)
  4. First Name
  5. Date of Birth (Day / Month / Year)
  6. Sex/Gender (Male / Female)
  7. Disabilities status (Blind/ Deaf/Physical Handicap/None)
  8. Marital Status (Single/Married/Divorce)
  9. Postal Address
  10. Home Address Town
  11. Address, State and Country
  12. Email Address
  13. Mobile Number
  14. Nationality
  15. State of Origin
  16. Local Government Area (LGA)
  17. Preferred State of Exam (state you want to sit for exam in)
  18. Exam Town
  19. 1st Most Preferred Institution: (University)
  20. 1st Most Preferred Course
  21. 2nd Most Preferred Institution: (University/Poly/COE)
  22. 2nd Most Preferred Course:
  23. 3rd Most Preferred Institution: (Poly/COE)
  24. 3rd Most Preferred Course:
  25. 4th Most Preferred Institution: (COE/IEI)
  26. 4th Most Preferred Course:
  27. Your Four UTME Subjects combination (Use of English compulsory)
  28. Your O’level result Type (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, GCE etc) and their grades if you’re not an awaiting candidate.

As we said earlier, there are some things that you need to be told by your parents like choosing the institutions’ names because, you don’t need to choose any institutions based on your likeliness, it is your sponsorships (parents) the one that tell you the institutions to choose.
