Ogun State is predominantly a Yoruba-speaking state with the Yoruba language serving as the lingua franca of the state. It is a state that is noted for being the almost exclusive site of Ofada rice production.

Abeokuta North is one of the 20 Local Government Areas (LGA) in Ogun state having its headquarters in the town of Akomoje and also made up of several towns including Isagbesan, Ita-Kinoshi, etc.

#3. Ado Odo-Ota | Ota
The Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area is one of the 20 Local Government Areas in Ogun State, Nigeria. Founded on May 19, 1989, following the merging of Ota, part of the defunct Ifo/Ota Local Government with Ado-Odo/Igbesa Areas of the Yewa South Local Government. The headquarter of Ado Odo-Ota LGA in Ogun state is located in Ota town.

Yewa North is a Local Government Area in the west of Ogun State, Nigeria bordering the Republic of Benin and headquartered in the town of Aiyetoro.
#20. Yewa South | Illaro
Ilaro, Ogun State is a town in Ogun State, Nigeria houses about 57,850 people. Ilaro is the headquarters of the Yewa South Local government.
